And the best Batman movie is…
August 20, 2012
Wasn’t expecting such a landslide, but after one month and 87 votes, the proof is in the pudding. Hell of a movie, hell of a trilogy, and can’t wait to see how Hollywood screws the next one up!
Swell voting, folks.

Interesting – I think Under the Red Hood makes for a strong contender, but for live-action it’s a tight race between The Dark Knight Rises and Batman Returns. Maybe that’s just me?
Still haven’t seen Under the Red Hood, but it’s been high up on the Netflix queue for quite a while. Never been too partial to Batman Returns (I blame The Penguin’s run for mayor as a major plotline), but I’m with you on TDKR. Might have to go with the voters on the #1 though.
Fair enough, although I’ll have to disagree on #1. I’m just really not a fan of The Dark Knight, I guess!
Haha. Fair enough as well.
How funny that no one voted for Val Kilmer’s Batman…
Haha. How funny that Val Kilmer ever was Batman.
I found a chart comparing Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy to the original Star Wars Trilogy. The first is a film unlike anything anyone had seen before. The second is the definition of great filmmaking. The third is a semi-flawed but stunning conclusion with a great ending. But in the end, they all are best watched together, making one perfect trilogy.
Wow, that’s a really interesting comparison. Think it’s a somewhat justified comparison as well.
Completely agree on watching them all together though. That’s the way to do it.
