About the Crap
With an English degree that was collecting dust and a whole lot of time on my hands, Cut The Crap Movie Reviews was born in May of 2009. The idea: justify my existence as The Movie Guy at trivia night by writing about movies the way I’d talk about them with friends. Years later, it’s blossomed into a black hole of a commitment, but that’s okay, it’s still a good time.
With that said, thanks to everyone who keeps reading this stuff and enabling my unhealthy obsession. Y’all know how to make a nerd blush.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that and right back at ya.
I like your style Aiden, to the point, no messin around. The site looks good, especially like the banner image.
Thanks, man. Right back atcha. The banner’s by my friend Ben Bishop, super-talented artist/graphic novelist from Maine. You can check out more of his stuff at bishart.net if you’re interested.

Haha. Thanks! Yeah, it’s been quite the ride alright and definitely helps to have some kind of excuse for all these movies I watch. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for stopping by!
Awesome. Just AWESOME.
Thanks!
Thanks for helping me navigate new movies:) Interested in Midnight in Paris. BTW, I have an English degree as well, but from China where English majors can work in any industry or…find nothing to do…Have a great weekend:)!
Hahaha. That’s exactly what it’s like for English majors over there, too. I know the struggle well. Thanks for stopping by and hope you love Midnight in Paris!
I like what I’ve seen of your blog so far. I don’t really write much about movies myself, but I did do a post in which I tried to watch Catwoman and remain sober — here, http://wp.me/p1SfsS-3C .
Subscribed. Hope to get into movies a bit more thru your posts.
Oh, man. That’s no easy feat. Never seen it in full myself, but it’s been playing on Cinemax like crazy lately and the ten minutes or so that I’ve seen is more than enough to appreciate the challenge. One day I will follow suit.
Thanks for stopping by and happy to help!
after reading that, i get the feeling that i will be your fan. damn. and hi 🙂
Haha. Thanks and hi!
it’s really cool that you have found something to do with your degree. i’m an english major, too.
Love your reviews and the movies you choose. Nice job!

aiden, have you seen The Raid before ? it’s a martial arts movie form Gareth Evans, but all of the cast are from Indonesia, i heard it was famous enough in US, you’ll love it 😀
I haven’t, I somehow missed it, but I know all about it and I’m dying to see it. Looks like I’ll have to wait ’til video, but I’m betting you’re right, sounds like a winner. Will let you know when I finally get around to it!

Hey dude, you have some really rad content! I just wanted to drop a line to let you know that I love reading your posts, and I will be sticking around for more. Take it easy!
Well hey now, thank you very much! Much appreciate the kind words, not enough people use “rad” in conversation any more, so I’ll keep fighting the good fight if you will. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and look forward to seeing you around! Keep it real!
I’ve got to say you’ve a really great blog, can’t wait to read more of your posts.
Thanks, man! Much appreciated. Keep up the great work on your end as well!
I like your site. Hey I have a suggestion, if you needed one… Have you seen Living in Oblivion? I remember laughing like an idiot while watching this movie, but it’s been a while… A little taste: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/living_in_oblivion/

Well alrighty, I’ll just go do that then! And I look forward to your review.
Dude, the fact that you have TWO Tarantino characters in your banner-thingie signifies that you are, in fact, awesome.
Also… if you like music reviews ‘n’ such… would be delighted to have you read my blog sometime! musicallymodernmaven.com
I don’t have time for crap, either.
