Darn tootin’. Homey got robbed last year, and even though I think he deserved it more for George Falconer than King Bertie, I’d love to see this guy go home with a well-deserved Oscar. I don’t know if he’s always been this awesome, but whatever, he’s quickly turned into one of my personal favorites as of late.

Yay for Colin! What a career this guy’s had… I mean for the longest time the only thing he’s got going for him was that wet-shirt scene as Mr Darcy. He’s sure come a long way since then.
Hahaha. Afraid I’m unfamiliar with that scene, but I nearly passed out with lust from thinking about it. But I hear ya’, the guy is no joke. Still can’t get over how great he was in A Single Man last year.

Sorry for the delayed response, co-workers had to rush me to the ER after I watched that and started convulsing. Such is the power of the Firth.
Just saw “The King’s Speach” last night and I agree with this assessment. Not another actor was anywhere near as good as him this year.
He’ll probably win it, but I think Gosling deserves it more than anyone.
