And the best SNL “Bad Boy” was…

…by a long shot! Suck on that, Paul Blart.
Judging by the 10% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, something tells me I’m never gonna get around to seeing Grown Ups, but my semi-loathing of Kevin James isn’t exactly helping either. Anyone who saw it care to share their thoughts?

Man, remember the SNL glory days? Good times.
But Schneider still kinda sucks.

I should have caught this earlier — Aiden, where’s John Belushi?
This was just the early ’90s cast edition. Some day will get to the original cast. Was waiting for someone to bring that up.
🙂 Guess I’m the only old guy in the room
Hell yeah – Chris Farley gets unfairly forgotten. His short career gave us a classic (Tommy Boy), a decent follow-up (Black Sheep), and some wonderful cameo performances.
Yeah, even Farley’s lesser movies like Almost Heroes I find absolutely hilarious.
I just saw Grown Ups, and I really liked it. I don’t know why it got such bad reviews and ratings (but I’m not a critic or anything like that, so I’m not really qualified to say what makes a good movie ^-^), b/c I thought it was actually pretty good. It was funny and just really enjoyable to watch . I’d rent it though, it’s not worth the ten bucks to go see it in theatres.
The only thing I really disliked about the movie was Chris Rock’s “white people/black people” jokes (I don’t see why people can just make skin colour jokes anymore, they’re stupid and offensive and they encourage negative stereotyping.) The movie was just running a long nicely, and all of a sudden he has to go and say something stupid like “Get your own white people,” or “I make white people run out of the store.” I thought we’d all be past having to laugh at skin colour jokes.
I was just going to ask about Belushi, but I see that was already addressed. Um, remember the time you were with the beatles….that was cool.
Grown Ups was horrible, Aiden. Just did a video rant on it on Magic Lantern at http://magiclanternfilm.wordpress.com/2010/07/05/peter-eramo-video-web-rant-7-the-awful-grown-ups-movie/
Do yourself a favor – and save your money….
