And the best Pixar movie (so far) is…

February 8, 2010

FINDING NEMO!

Gotta admit, I’m kinda surprised. Had no idea there was so much love for this movie, but hey, it’s Pixar, the sucker’s gold! Looks like another marathon is in order.

Good voting all around, folks. Biggest turnout yet! Woohoo!

RESULTS
Toy Story: 8 votes (classic)
A Bug’s Life: 3 votes
Toy Story 2: 1 vote (surprised, always tops the Rotten Tomatoes poll for best animated movie of all-time. still, wouldn’t have been my vote)
Monsters, Inc.: 1 vote (hilarious)
Finding Nemo: 12 votes
The Incredibles: 5 votes (awesome)
Cars: 1 vote
Ratatouille: 1 vote
WALL-E: 7 votes
Up: 8 votes (would have been my vote)

And so begins Oscar month…

Wow, this is really a huge shocker!! Toy Story and Up are just classics of just film in general.

What a surprise. I love Nemo, but I’ve found the past 3 Pixar films to be among the best written films of recent years.

A Bug’s Life got 3? That’s two more than I expected, glad that there are other people out there who loved it as much as me.

Yes, the fishies prevailed over the toys, rats and trash pooping robots. Vindicated!

I agree with James that Up, Wall-E and Ratatouille are Pixar’s best written to date, even despite how much I love that little fish with the little fin.

Drop that knowledge!
