About the Author
Hey there,
My name’s Aiden and…
- I write movie reviews because movies are universal, they’re the great connector, they’re the one thing you can talk to anyone about regardless of who they are or where they’re from (unless they’re Amish, and even then you could probably just talk about Witness) and I’m in way too deep to stop now. In short, movies are swayze.
- I’m based out of Manhattan.
- my favorite movies are the 10 out of 10′s. Some of the 9′s, too.
- Death From Above 1979 is a great band that you might not have heard of.
- the absolute best books I’ve ever read are The Once and Future King by T.H. White and Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
- Final Fantasy VII is the best game of all-time.
- the best show ever made is The Twilight Zone. That Rod Serling was no joke.
- Mexican food is good. Real good. All about the mole sauce, baby.
- Yoo-Hoo! and Dogfish Head’s Raison d’etre are the beverages of choice.
I guess that kinda covers it. Thanks for reading!

Haha. Thanks, man. You just made it to the blogroll.
Glad I found you. I’ll need to create my own film blog one day…
Glad to be found. Go for it!
I will have to check out The Once and Future King. Maybe you are going to start a book blog one of these days?
It’s on the agenda, just need to either A) get someone to pay me to do this full-time for a living, or B) become friends with a total bookworm who loves to write. only time will tell.
And definitely read The Once and Future King. It’ll melt your face with awesomeness.
You had me at “Death From Above 1979 is a great band…”.
Right back at ya’, man. Spread the word and thanks for visiting!
Love your blog and I’ve only read one post so far, to quote you, and a bunch of other busy people: “not enough hours in the day”. I just watched Tennesee Williams’ “the loss of a pearl earring” or something like that, maybe it was diamond earring. I loved it. watched it twice.
have a happy day.
Never heard of that, but Williams was the man, will check it out. Thanks for visiting!
“The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond”. may not be your cup o tea, but this 46 year old college student/mother/new blogger/cyclist/crazy woman loved it.
Never heard of it, but will check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great Blog Aiden.. I like the way your blog ging. Just droppin by to say that I will be back and read some more of your reviews. Keep up!
Thanks, man! Much appreciated and don’t be a stranger.
Gotta say I love your tone as a blogger – never snarky or high-minded. Always good reads.
Thanks, man! Really appreciate you saying that, totally made my day!
I cross the Blog World from China to the West. And I find visitors on your website are in better mood. They write comments with their heat. It’s good.My English is not very good. But…just want to say that.
Thanks, man! Really appreciate that, I too am a big fan of the crew that hangs around these parts. And thanks for visiting, glad to see the Chinese division of the Cut The Crap Fan Club is slowly gaining steam.
Your tasted in video games is awesome! On a possible note you might enjoy playing Dragon Age 2. GOW3 was awesome and I hope they do make another one. Puzzle solving with action is just great.
Thanks, man. Yeah, I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Dragon Age games (and I’ll vouch for any Bioware game after playing through Knights of the Old Republic back in college), really need to check those out ’cause I could a good RPG after the epic disappointment of FFXIII. And GOW3 was totally awesome. Been a while since I played through the first two, but really had a blast with 3, maybe the most fun I’ve had with any of ‘em.
So that’s what you look like…It looks like a Twilight Zone episode…”it’s not fair…IT’S NOT FAIR!” or “Don’t go aboard that ship! It’s a cookbook!”, LOL…both titles would work with that photo!
Hahaha. That’s exactly what I was going for, too!
Cool site. looking forward to more updates.
Thanks and keep on checking back!
